Meet Eddie Carrillo

Joe Johnson and Eddie Carrillo at Quorum's Windsor clinic

At 9 years old he moved with his family to El Paso, Texas. He later worked construction, got married, and raised two children. Following years of hardship, an infection in July 2024 caused the loss of his big toe and later the amputation of his leg above the knee. In less than 24 hours his life changed completely.

Eddie says God never left his side and placed angels in his life. One of those was Rose Elder, who sought help for him and connected him with Joe Johnson, CEO of Quorum Prosthetics and founder of One Leg At A Time, who stepped in to make sure Eddie received the care he needed.
