Story & Mission

Our Story Began With Firsthand Experience

Joe Johnson founded Quorum Prosthetics from experience as a below-knee amputee, understanding the challenges of prosthetic fit, comfort, and mobility.

Meet the Founder & CEO

Quorum Prosthetics CEO and founder Joe Johnson.

Joe’s journey helped inspire Quorum’s mission to develop prosthetic and orthotic solutions that are custom, innovative, and built around the needs of each individual. Today, that mission continues through advanced engineering, clinical collaboration, and technologies like the Quatro Socket.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to help people move forward with greater comfort, confidence, and independence through custom prosthetic and orthotic solutions shaped by real experience, clinical insight, and advanced engineering. We are committed to developing technology that supports real-life mobility, adapts to individual needs, and helps patients and practitioners achieve better everyday outcomes.

The Problem We Set Out to Solve

For many prosthetic users, socket fit changes throughout the day. Limb volume fluctuations, pressure, movement, and daily activity can affect comfort, stability, and confidence, making each step feel more difficult.

Quorum was created to address these real-life fit challenges with adaptable, personalized solutions. Through custom design, advanced engineering, and adjustable socket technology, we help support comfort, control, and mobility throughout the day.

OUR NONPROFIT

Through One Leg At A Time, Quorum helps extend access to prosthetic care, support, and hope for individuals facing barriers around the world.

The nonprofit reflects our larger mission: helping people move forward with greater confidence, independence, and opportunity.
