The Care Process
A Step By Step Look At Your Prosthetic Journey
From evaluation to your 3D printed prosthetic solution and follow up care, our team makes each step clear, supportive, and personalized.
-
1. Evaluation and Goal Setting
Every patient’s journey is different, but our goal is to make each step feel clear, supportive, and personalized. From your first evaluation to your 3D printed prosthetic solution and long term follow up, our team is here to guide you forward.
-
2. Digital Scanning and Measurements
Next, we capture the shape and details of your limb using digital scanning, measurements, or other clinical information. If you are working with your own prosthetist, they can send us 3D scans of your residual limb to help guide the design of your custom 3D printed prosthetic solution.
-
3. Custom Design
Our team uses advanced digital design tools to create a prosthetic solution tailored to your body and goals. This may include a 3D printed socket, flexible inner socket, Quatro Adjustable Socket, replacement panels, or other custom 3D printed components.
-
4. Test Fitting
Before your final prosthesis is completed, you may go through a test fitting. This allows your prosthetist to check comfort, alignment, pressure areas, stability, and overall fit. In some cases, we may ship the prosthesis to your practitioner for fitting and feedback. Your input helps guide any needed adjustments.
-
5. 3D Printed Fabrication
Once the design and fit are approved, your prosthetic solution moves into 3D printed fabrication. Each piece is created with precision to support comfort, durability, function, and a personalized fit.
-
6. Final Fitting and Delivery
At your final fitting, your prosthetist checks the fit, makes any needed adjustments, and helps you learn how to properly use and care for your prosthesis. You will also receive guidance on wearing schedules, skin checks, liners, adjustment features, and daily care.
-
7. Training and Daily Use
Learning to use a prosthesis takes time. Your prosthetist may work alongside your therapy team to support strength, balance, gait training, and confidence with daily activities.
-
8. Follow Up and Ongoing Support
Your body and activity level may change over time, so follow up care is an important part of the process. Our team is here to make adjustments, answer questions, provide support, and help keep your prosthesis working for your needs.
